Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ's

Ring sizing is not an exact science but we as jewellers do our best to get the right fit for you. While everybody’s hands are different, we can use these measurements to help us get the most comfortable fit for your fingers, though it varies for everyone (just like a pair of jeans!)

Please keep in mind that it is perfectly normal to have a ring that will fit perfectly in one season of the year while being small or big in another, as our hands swell and retract with summer heat and winter cold. Likewise, the ring size of your dominant hand will tend to be slightly larger than that of your non-dominant. Variations are perfectly normal.

If you do not know your ring size, you can go in to a local jewellers to get sized in person which is always the best way to get the most reliable size. Alternately, if you already have a ring that fits the finger of choice, you can measure the inner diameter (as seen below) and send through the millimetre measurement to us.

Demi-fine jewellery lies between fine jewellery and costume or fashion jewellery.

Fine jewellery is made of precious metals and gemstones, while costume jewellery is typically made of less expensive materials such as plated copper or brass and artificial stones.

Here at Adornments by Tashi, we love statement jewellery at a more affordable price-point, as well as exploring with materials that might not necessarily fall into the fine jewellery category but are still beautiful!
